TEAL believes that you don’t know what you’re capable of until it is demanded of you. Our Take Flight Leadership programmes for KS3 and KS4 develop crucial social and emotional skills and attributes to support young people through their secondary education, and resource them with the leadership qualities needed for success in wider life.

Take Flight Leadership is a one-day programme within the school grounds. Young people are introduced to powerful leadership tools before putting them to the test through a series of outdoor problem solving activities. Students are encouraged to review and evaluate their performance with their peer group to ensure they get the most out of the experience.

Take Flight Leadership helps young people realise their individual potential by increasing confidence, trust and resilience to support them with the challenges of everyday living.

Delivered with passion, music and movement Take Flight Leadership is highly interactive, and provide young people with identified personal goals and a renewed sense of their own potential.

Take Flight Leadership develops 3 key characteristics:
